Facilities

Parkwater Aviation’s home is located at historic Felts Field airstrip in Spokane, WA, one of the oldest continually operating airports in the United States. Our beautiful brick facilities were originally built in the mid-1920s for military use and were remodeled in 2009 offering a warm professional learning environment, rich with flight history and charm.

The Classroom

The first step in Parkwater training is in-depth classroom instruction taught by our expert flight and maintenance staff. With unsurpassed flight and maintenance knowledge, a wide range of skillsets, and world-wide flight experience, Parkwater is the preeminent KODIAK 100 flight training center. The reason we were the first factory authorized training provider for the KODIAK 100 is because we are the leading knowledge experts, providing training and operational expertise longer than anyone. We are passionate about the KODIAK 100 and its capabilities almost as much as providing our customers with the knowledge and skills to be an exceptional pilot. Courses are also available in a variety of languages.

The Simulator

Parkwater is the home of a full-motion Kodiak training simulator. Our expert instructors utilize the simulator to realistically transfer your classroom learning into the cockpit in a controlled environment.

PT6A Engine Lab

In addition to flight training, Parkwater has a complete engine lab to provide PT6A turbine engine training for anyone seeking a thorough, systematic analysis of fundamental concepts, working components, and the practical operational aspects of the KODIAK’s PT6A engine. This course focuses on providing knowledge to maximize engine reliability while minimizing maintenance and overhaul costs.
